I keep roaming still, but no longer aimless
The rust on my compass is flaking off
Showing chromed steel yet again
The stride I thought strong and powerful
Now seems feeble as leagues fly by
My threadbare cloak is lined with silver
And my whole-ridden soles are mended
I still have a way to go before dark
But the fog on the horizon has lifted
Revealing a hearth burning in the distance
The sun warming my face and soul
Is her easy smile
And the wind caressing my skin
Is her gentle touch
